Symyra Brinston graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 2005, where she was a dedicated and versatile athlete in track and field, tennis, and basketball. Over her four years, she earned nine varsity letters—four in track and field, three in tennis, and two in basketball—leaving a lasting impact on the school’s athletic program.
On the track, Symyra’s hard work and determination led to three Mid-State League MVP honors and school records in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash, which stood for more than a decade. She was also part of the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams that continue to hold school records today—testament to the teamwork and shared commitment of her and her fellow athletes.
After graduation, Symyra has carried the same drive into her professional and personal life. She is a small business owner, operating Polish Nails and Brinston and Associates Property, and works part-time as a home health aide. Committed to giving back, she volunteers with the For the People Foundation, supporting community outreach and empowerment initiatives.
Tonight, we proudly welcome Symyra Brinston into the Hamilton Township High School Athletic Hall of Fame—not only for her remarkable accomplishments as a student-athlete, but for the example she continues to set through her work, service, and dedication to others.
