Curtis Peoples

Few players in the history of Ohio high school football have the undeniably Hall of Fame credentials as Curtis Peoples. On both sides of the ball, his size, speed, strength, and intensity set him apart from the best players in Ohio. Curtis Peoples passed in 2018; he was a once-in-a-generation talent.

Curtis was born in 1971 to his mother Mary and father Rufus, Sr. He was a 1991 graduate of Hamilton Township High School. Curtis was recruited by all the major football programs across the nation. He attended Miami of Ohio University and the University of Findley. Curtis coached football at several schools including Pleasant View Middle School and Central Crossing. Family was very important to Curtis and he loved to spend time with them having fun and joking around, especially with his son Ryan, daughter Ava, and Ava’s mother, Barb Lawler.
