2007 4 x 100 Relay Team

Daniel is the son of Saundra Jankowski and Dan Belcher. He participated in soccer and track, where he obtained 7 varsity letters. 

Chris is the son of Kathy Trisler. He participated in football, basketball and track at HTHS, where he obtained 10 varsity letters. 

Stephen attended Hamilton for one year and in addition to his success as part of the 4x100 team, he was the MSL Champion in the 400 meter. 

Nic is the son of Annette and Paul Duty. He participated in Football, Soccer, Basketball and Track, where he obtained 11 varsity letters. 

While each experienced multiple successes in other sports, nothing compared to the success they would achieve as a relay team. Below is an overview of their accomplishments:

• 6th place in the state 4X100 in their junior year.

• State qualifiers in the 4 x 2 junior and senior year

• The all-division record holder in the Mid-State League 4X100 (43.3)

• Shadyside Relay Record Holder in 4x100 (44.27) /Meet Champions 

• 2007 Mid-State League Champions 4x100 Relay

• 2007 Mid-State League Champions 4x200 Relay

• Trisler- Mid-State League Runner of the Year

• Duty- Outstanding Performance at League Championship (Winner of 4 events)

• 1st Team All-Mid State League 

• 1st Team All Central District 

Upon graduating from Hamilton Township, Dan received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Capital University where he continued to run track at the collegiate level. He then served as an assistant track and field coach for Hamilton from 2011-2013 before enlisting in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Infantryman. He later attended Florida Atlantic University where he obtained his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and is currently pursuing his PhD in Integrative & Biomedical Physiology at Penn State University. 

After graduating from Hamilton Township High School, Chris attended Notre Dame College and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and is currently working on obtaining his master’s degree in School Counseling. He currently works for Hamilton Local Schools as an Intervention Specialist. He lives in the district with his wife, Nicole, and two boys, Jace and Jackson.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to contact Stephen since his high school graduation. If he applied the same passion to his life that he did to Track & Field, he is likely very successful in his life today. 

Upon graduating from Hamilton Township, Nicholas continued his education at Columbus State Community College where he soon went into the workforce with Abbott Laboratories and Rush Enterprises.  Nicholas then found his calling to become a Columbus police officer to help protect and serve his community. Nicholas currently resides in Pickaway County with his wife Amber Duty and their four children.
