Ron was a coach and teacher in Hamilton Local Schools from 1977-1990. During his tenure he coached tennis, football, and basketball at both the middle and high school levels. Ron spent nine years as the Head Middle School Football Coach.
His 49-11-2 record also included seven Mid-State League Championships and six undefeated seasons. Ron even ended on a high note winning his last 31 games as middle school football coach. Ron was equally successful as a Varsity Tennis coach at the High School level. His 164-48 record included three undefeated seasons in 1987, 1988, and 1989, losing only one team match in his last 68 contests.
In 1995, Ron retired from teaching when retinopathy left him totally blind. Since then, Ron has been dedicated to a career as a motivational speaker, even creating his own character education program "GOOD."
More than 100,000 students throughout Ohio have heard Ron's message. He currently lives in Baltimore, OH with his wife Pamela, and together they have three children; Chad, Brad, and Krista.
