Roger Wong

Roger was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  He attended Hamilton Local Schools from K thru 12, graduating from Hamilton Township High School in 1985.  He has two sisters, Cheryl and Lauren who also graduated from HTHS.  They grew up with their parents in Hamilton Meadows.  He has worked at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service as an Accountant for over 30 years.  

Roger has been a volunteer for the Ranger Athletic Department for the past 20 years doing everything from running the clock to helping in the concession stand.  Always a sports fan, he remembers watching games on television at an early age and attending Ranger games while in Elementary and Middle school.  Roger started volunteering with some of his friends working the chains for the High School football games on Friday night.  Since then, he has run the clock and scoreboard for football and basketball games and volunteered for many sporting events over the years.  He has worked wrestling and track and field events always making sure the athletes are ready and know where they are supposed to be before competing.  He has assisted game officials and visiting teams before games, showing them to the locker room and ensuring they have everything they need before gametime.   

In High School, Roger played one year of baseball and could always be seen at other sporting events both home and away cheering and supporting his friends and classmates.   

When not working or volunteering at HT, Roger likes to attend Ohio State games and follow

the professional sports teams in OHIO.  He enjoys going to concerts and spending time with his friends and family.
