Carole (Paszke) Morbitzer

Carole earned eight varsity letters in volleyball and softball as a Ranger. As an outside hitter/setter, Carole was selected Second Team All Mid State League, served as captain, and was selected as a member of the Central Ohio Volleyball Club.

As a catcher on the softball field, Carole really shined. She was selected Most Improved Player as a freshman, and obtained numerous honors during the next three years. They include: being named first team All Mid State League, two-time First Team All District, 1990 Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year in 1991, The Columbus Dispatch Player of the Week, Team Captain, and Second Team All Ohio.

Carole earned a B.S. in Education from The Ohio State University, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Ohio Dominican University. She is currently working on her Doctorate from Concordia University.

Carole was winner of Ohio's 2012 Presidential Award in Mathematics and Science Teaching and visited President Obama in the Oval Office. She earned the 2012 Susan G. Komen National Volunteer of the Year, selected as the 2013 Ohio Teacher of the Year by the Ohio Department of Education, and 2013 Schoology National Teacher of the Year.

As a coach, Carole has earned many Coach of the Year honors including: OCC Coach of the Year in 1999, Mid State League Coach of the Year 2012 and 2016, and National Federation of High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2012.

Carole currently serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Hamilton Local School District, and is the head coach of the Hamilton Township volleyball program.
