Rocky Hawthorne

Rocky Hawthorne graduated in 1978, and earned varsity letters in football, basketball, and baseball. He was captain of both the football and basketball team his senior year. Rocky was a standout on the football field. He earned three varsity letters and was named First Team All Columbus Metropolitan and most valuable defensive player. In 1977, Rocky was a First Team All Ohio State Selection at Defensive Tackle.

After high school, Rocky attended Miami University where he lettered in football as a defensive tackle and earned a B.S. in Education in 1983. Currently Rocky works for the U.S. Postal Service, and has coached basketball at various levels here in the Hamilton Local Schools community. Rocky has a daughter, Katelyn, and resides in Hilliard, Ohio.
