Mark Frazier

Mark Frazier is a graduate of Otterbein University where he studied French Horn.  He received his Bachelor of Music Education degree in the spring of 1986 and began his teaching career at Hamilton Local Schools that following fall.  Since his arrival, Mr. Frazier has taught Instrumental Music in the Middle School and High School.

During his time here at Hamilton, Mr. Frazier’s bands have performed in many local parades, community events and the Hamilton Marching Band has earned numerous superior ratings at the OMEA State Marching Band Finals.  He has also been the director of the Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble and has had many students perform at Solo and Ensemble Contests.  Mr Frazier is a past High School Teacher of the Year and also directs the yearly district musical.

Throughout his career at Hamilton, Mr. Frazier’s bands have performed at all home and away varsity football games, Volley for the Cure, girls and boys home basketball games and the Autism Shootout.  He prides himself on his great working relationship with the athletic department and individual coaches, which has allowed athletes and band members to participate in both the sports and instrumental music programs.  This past Spring, Mr. Frazier retired from Hamilton Local Schools after 31 years of service to the district and the Hamilton community.
