Susan McKnight

The Ranger Merit Award 2022 honoree is Sue McKnight!

Sue is a 1986 graduate of Hamilton Township High School. She has two sisters who also graduated from Hamilton: Tammy, 1983 and Penny, 1990. Sue is the daughter of Miles and Phyllis Mullins who are longtime residents of the Hamilton area.

Sue met her husband, Tom McKnight at Hamilton Township. He is also an HT graduate from the class of 1987. He played football and wrestled for Hamilton. They have two sons who are also graduates of Hamilton Township. TJ is from the class of 2006 and Miles graduated in 2011. She is the proud grandmother of three who will also attend Hamilton. Kate is eight years old, Polly is two and Miles, Jr. is four months old. They all have Ranger Pride!

Sue started volunteering for the district in 1996 and was on the sub list for the district for five years before she was hired 21 years ago. She was a cook for 20 years and is now the Head Cook for Hamilton Middle School and loves her job. She says if it wasn’t for these kids, she wouldn’t have a job. She loves watching our student athletes play in their various sports and is always there to support them. All of them are very important to her.

She will always be proud to say she is a Ranger!
