Brandon Mancuso

Brandon is the son of Pastor Jodi Mancuso and Grandson of Anna Marie King. He’s the brother of Gina Mancuso who’s a Real Estate Agent and little big brother of Dwayne Joe who is a United States Marine. 

Brandon grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and first attended Hamilton Local Schools in 6th grade.

Brandon participated in Football, Basketball and Track. As a Football player, he played offense, defense, and special teams. Brandon was clocked at running a 4.23 forty-yard dash. With speed like this, he was a definite threat on the field.  He achieved multiple ThisWeek Athlete of the Week awards in Football & Track. Multiple Football Friday Night Highlights for Kick-offs and punt returns ran back for touchdowns. He took multiple interceptions back for touchdowns. He was selected to play in the 2001 All-Star Game which he was a starter and helped his team get the win.

Brandon was a member of the Track & Field team all 4 years. In his junior year, he made it to state in the 110 & 300-meter hurdles. During his senior year, he went undefeated in the 300 Meter Hurdles where he would go on to win State in the event. He also won a silver medal in the 2001 State Track meet in the 110-meter-high hurdles. He has set meet records all over the Mid-State League.

After graduating from HTHS, Brandon attended college at Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio where he studied International Business and Japanese Language. He achieved a National Championship Football trophy and ring with his team in the first year. 

Brandon has a 5-year-old son named Rome Mancuso, who’s currently attending Kindergarten in Dublin. He and Rome are the owners of a hydrogen antioxidant-rich water company called OHydrate.

Some of Brandon’s High School Track athletic achievements include:

• 1 st OHSAA Div. II State Champion (2001) 300m Hurdles

• 2nd place finish-OHSAA Div. II (2001) 110m Hurdles

• Current Record Holder:

  • 110m Hurdles: 14.0

  • 300m Hurdles: 38.1

• 1998-part of Boys MSL Buckeye Division Champions

• 2001- part of Boys OHSAA State Championship Div. II (7 th Pl. Team)

• 2000- 4x100 Relay Record Team. Currently ranked 2nd (43.5) MSL Champions

• 2000- 4x200 Relay Record Team (Indoor); Currently ranked 2nd (1.36.11)

• 2000- 60m Dash (Indoor); 2nd Place Record as a Junior (7.39).
