Gary Topping

Gary earned five varsity letters in football, basketball, and track during his two years at Hamilton Township High School. As a football player, he earned All Metro honors both years, and was a football co-captain his senior year.

Upon graduation, Gary was accepted to The U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he earned varsity letters in football and track. As a football player he was named ECAC Player of the Week numerous times along with being named ABC/Chevrolet Player of the Game, and First Team All-East as a running back and linebacker.

In track and field, he was a finalist in the 1C4A Indoor Championship in the 60 yard dash. In 1973, Gary earned a B.S. in Engineering from West Point, and a M.S. in Computing Information Sciences from The University of Oklahoma in 1978.
